When I saw the title "Can Banks Become the New Hotel Tastemakers?", I clicked immediately, then saw it was sponsored by Capital One... I'm curious to see if banks could outgrow the concept of airport lounges outside of airports. Why not have a Capital One member club directly where they have the most customers?
It's a good point. I think there's a thing there. More niche distribution channels. they have spending habit data and could segment the distribution quite well. Just like the NYT created all their retail pages which are all paid placements.
